The Yavapai HOGs went south for this ride, with a chilly start (one member had 24 degrees departing home). But, the temperatures were above 50 by the time we departed Legends Harley-Davidson for the Valley. And the 69 degree temperatures in the Valley were a welcome respite.
Lunch at the Lookout Tavern was excellent; we had learned of this spot through the 2023 MyAZMap Tour of Duty challenge. This challenge introduced it’s participants to many small businesses in Arizona, while also providing support for the MAM (Military Assistance Mission). Check the link if you’re interested in participating in this worthwhile challenge in 2024! And, as far as Yavapai HOG is concerned, the Lookout Tavern was a good find and a great lunch stop.
