Our second overnight ride of the 2023 season took us through Northern New Mexico, with just a little rain but a lot of great scenery, fun with our fellow YHOG friends, and some amazing riding. As one of “Robert’s Rides,” this one lived up to expectations and was a ride never to forget!
Day 1 took us from Prescott Valley through much of the Navajo Nation and into Farmington, NM, including Canyon de Chelly and a stop at the Shiprock Formation.
Day 2 gave beautiful weather, and a tour of many sites from the “Longmire” series. From the cabin at Valles Caldera to the office in Las Vegas (New Mexico), and all of the beautiful & interesting roads between.
Day 3 was from Las Vegas to Socorro, with Madrid in between.
Day 4 was our return home, but first with a stop at the Very Large Array.
