Sub-freezing overnight temperatures yielded nicely to the rising sun, making for a tolerable ride out of the mountains and on down past Wickenburg for lunch at Dillon’s at Western Trails Ranch in Morristown, where the thermometer peaked out in the low 60’s mid-day. Outdoor patio seating was at a premium since team roping practice was in full swing, so rather than competing with the announcer’s voice, YHOG riders took their conversation and jovial ribbing of one another inside for yet another satisfying meal together.
